Cheating

Look, this one is pretty simple.  We should strive to live virtuous lives and we should seek to make morally good choices. Cheating is not a morally good choice because it is based on the idea that the end justifies the means.  The thing is, the end does not justify the means, the means should be just in itself.  Whenever we take advantage of someone to further ourselves, we are using that person as a means to an end.  Cheating is using someone as a means to an end.  But people are valuable for who they are, and they are not to be used (according to Immanuel Kant).  Therefore, we should not cheat people, because that causes us to devalue others.  Instead we should strive to be fair and to honor others in the choices that we make.
