Anger

Have you ever just burned with anger towards someone else or a certain issue?  If so you are not alone.  In fact, anger may be one of the biggest struggles that any of us face.  It is ok, to be angry, but when we are angry, we need to keep our cool.  We need to be patient, and we need to work towards a solution.  A few years ago, Don Henley wrote a song that said this, "an angry man can only get so far, until he reconciles the way he thinks things ought to be, with the way they are."  This is a very good quote, because it talks about how are anger can actually be a hindrance to us if we let it control our actions.  We all need to work a little harder on forgiveness, and we all need to understand that everyone does not and will not see everything the same way we do.  God created us with diversity, and this diversity is certainly seen in how we think.

For those of you who would like to see some Scripture about this issue, you may look at  Psalm 37:8, Proverbs 12:16, 14:29, 29:22, 30:33, Ecclesiastes 7:9, Ephesians 4:26-27, 4:31-32, Colossians 3:8, and James 1:19-20.
